Save the Date! Join us on October 17th for the Second Annual Harnessing Hydrogen

Washington & Jefferson College’s Center for Energy Policy & Management is excited to announce the second iteration of its annual Harnessing Hydrogen event.


Harnessing Hydrogen will feature individual talks and panel discussions related to the deployment of hydrogen energy within the Pennsylvania-Ohio-West Virginia area, and will build on the discussions of last year’s event. Harnessing Hydrogen is hosted by the Center for Energy Policy & Management, which strives to provide credible, impartial, and accessible information on the region's most salient energy topics.


This year’s program will feature several talks by thought-leaders and professionals who are at the forefront of the hydrogen and carbon capture discussion in three (3) panel discussions followed by a keynote address. Speakers will be announced at a later date. Topics for the panel discussions are as follows:

  • Panel 1: Hydrogen Energy & Appalachia

  • Panel 2: Carbon Capture - Point Source & DAC

  • Panel 3: Transforming the Regional Economy through Hydrogen

Harnessing Hydrogen is FREE to attend and will be held on Tuesday, October 17th from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in-person at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
